Traveling for FREE

Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve finally decided to start taking advantage of how credit cards can actually PAY you to use them… as long as you use them wisely.

**Reminder: Never let your credit card charges exceed what you can pay back each month and be sure to pay off your charges by the end of each month.**

There are dozens of credit cards to try. Here are some we’ve tested out and can vouch for.

TIPS

If married, open your first card in just one of your names. This way, you can later refer your spouse where you’ll earn referral points, plus sign up bonuses.

The Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus card earns you points quick enough, but the wisest way to redeem those points is on complimentary flights.

Know what card will earn you the most cash back where. For example, the Marriott Bonvoy gets 2% cash back at grocery stores, Chase Sapphire gets 3% cash back on dining out, and so on.
