Keep an open mind when it comes to timeshare presentations. My husband and I have encountered salesmen all around the states looking to provide us with FREE travel as long as we sit through a couple hours of a timeshare presentations.

- Club Wyndham offers a seven night stay anywhere around the country for attending a two hour presentation.
I’m not saying to purchase the timeshare by any means. I’m just suggesting sitting through the presentation in order to earn freebies!

This has worked out beautifully for my own family because we already rent out our home from time to time. Our house is listed on Airbnb/VRBO during peak seasons throughout the year. We’ve already done through the kid-proofing, adding of beds, minimization of clutter, and licensing. But even without all the hoops of a short term rental, you can list your house with home swapping apps like Kinder to earn credits toward deeply discounted stays in huge, luxurious homes. REWARDS PROGRAMS
Joins rewards programs at any chance you get. This way, no matter where you stay or how you pay, you’re always earning points toward another free stay. For example, our family recently stayed four nights at a Best Western Plus. At the time, Best Western ran a promo through Best Western Rewards for 5,000 bonus points with each two night stay. This resulted in 10,000 bonus points as we stayed four total nights. We then earned a free night with all those points! It was as easy as signing up for FREE!
