
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to make a BLT. I realized just how easy it was when I whipped up a dinner of BLT’s in a hotel room for our family of four. It’s a classic sandwich to remind us of home, even when we’re far away. Making BLT’s isn’t hard, but it’s often a forgotten recipe. Here’s how we made it this kitchen classic:
{INGREDIENTS}
8 slices of bread (whichever brand you prefer)
12 pieces of microwavable bacon
4-8 pieces of lettuce
8 slices of tomato
Mayo
{INSTRUCTIONS}
Prepare your bacon by laying pieces out on a plate and microwaving as the package instructs. Slice tomatoes and prepare lettuce. Toast bread. Add butter or mayo after toasting, however you prefer. Assemble sandwiches by laying lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon on top of each other. Finish with another slice of bread and enjoy a thick, filling sandwich!
